There are unlimited must-try gluten gluttonous food out there, but as a foodie, I must try all sorts of food, even if it is gluten-free. *knock on wood. I am not yet gluten intolerant, but have always liked gluten-free desserts. They are surprisingly delicious, with the lightness of the ingredients giving me that extra boost of self-assuring encouragement that desserts are healthy.

*Note: They have one right at Martinez.

The Palermo store was nicely displayed, with all sorts of gluten-free pastries, desserts, empanadas, pizzas etc. They have stores scattered around the city. Prices are very affordable. I only tried their ‘cuadrados de frutas secas’, dry nuts & fruits bar with a very delicious shortbread-like crust. Chewy, toasty and crumbly- so good; 8 pesos and a good portion size.

Ended up being chicken breast (twice) with steamed veggies. I also missed the chance to go on volunteer standby and get a business upgrade and $400. But, this is why I’m trying gluten free
